The outgoing Joint Brigade Cadet staff has done an amazing job leading the Brigade with over 2,300 cadets. Below the staff details their after graduation plans. They have set the example of being College and Career ready for the schools they represent.
The Brigade Commander, Johnny Nguyen from Madison High School, will be attending the University of California at Berkeley on a Regents full-ride scholarship, studying political science.
The Executive Officer, Siddhi Patel from Mira Mesa High School, will be attending the University of California at San Diego, studying data science and computer science.
The Command Sergeant Major, Eric Mains from Kearny High School, has enlisted in the Army, where he will become a helicopter mechanic.

The J1 Gemma Samoy from Kearny High School, will be attending the University of California at Los Angeles, studying mathematics.
J2:
The J2 Joshua Abuyo from Morse High School enlisted in the US Navy, where he aspires to be culinary specialist.
J3:
The J3 James Gordon from Patrick Henry High School will be attending the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs with a Navy ROTC scholarship.
J4:
The J4 Josephine Hart from Point Loma High School, will be attending the University of Arizona with a National Level Navy ROTC scholarship, studying computer science.
J5:
The J5 Yasmine Sadoudi from San Diego High School, will be attending the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs with a full ride scholarship from the GWU Trachtenberg Foundation.
J6:
The J6 David Tu from Crawford High School, will be attending the University of California at San Diego with a Regents full ride scholarship, studying neurobiology.
J8:
The J8 Susan Garcia from Hoover High School, will be attending Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts outside of Boston with a Alumni and Friends full ride scholarship, studying Biochemistry.
LNO:
The Liaison Officer Melba Nuzen from Scripps Ranch High School, will be attending the California Institute of Technology (CALTECH) in Pasadena, California, studying computer science.
