Equity Presents Itself in School Structures

Teachers from around the country came together to examine equity in master schedules at SDUSD’s first Power of Pathways and Partnerships Convention (PoPPCon 2019). Led by Cheryl Hibbeln, Executive Director of School Innovation and Integrated Youth Services, teachers and administrators met at UCSD and were presented with the question: Do the structures in place at your school support or stifle equity and access? Teachers got to work with UCSD’s seismic shake table to put their thoughts to the test!
