Real Data, Real Results

Student’s at Thurgood Marshall Middle School do not only look at science data created by someone else, they learn to make their own datasets. When students are invested in generating their own data, analysis, and interpretation, then they are thinking like real scientists. As more students use Science And Engineering Practices (SEPs) across all grade levels, not only will they have a common lens to look at science, they will be prepared for what science is like far beyond college. This is just one example of building up students’ 21st century skills!
