Restorative Circles

Student facilitated restorative circles at Knox Middle School are building community. Every Wednesday, during advisory, students come together to foster relationships. Teachers are provided weekly restorative circle prompts to help create uniformity across the school. Knox Middle Schoolers are not the only people that participate in restorative circles! Advisory teachers also join in as a way to promote positive relationships with students. Let’s not forget about the monthly circle Mrs. Potter facilitates with the teachers before the staff meeting. Knox Middle school is doing their part to establish a community of healthy, honest, and courageous communication. Together they are making changes one conversation at a time!
